Hi all

Well, my bout of 2nd Edition nostalgia is developing into a fully fledged and constant fervor to reclaim my role-playing youth and get back to C&S 2nd Edition and its beautiful themes and mechanics.

Some of you may be familiar with my 4th Edition Character Sheet, which I am looking to replicate for 2nd Edition.

I am currently building the sheet to exact 2nd Edition specifications from the basic 3 books.

I would hope to then incorporate other books, i.e.: Sourcebook 1 & 2, Swords & Sorcerers and Saurians, in a new incarnation of the sheet.

I would then be open to further modifications with certain simple things that are good from later editions, such as expanded Special Traits, and would be happy to get feedback on this. So if there is anything anyone thinks would be a good inclusion, then please let me know.

Please let me know what you think.

Cheers

Hey Pad, good to hear from you. It is great to see you coming back to C&S, good luck and keep us informed.

FYI - I have created a 2nd Edition Character sheet in Excel if you would like a copy of it?

Getting on well.

Skills are a bit of a pain as there is no one clean skill system, like Skillscape for example. Groups of skills are treated differently (e.g.: favoured weapons are different to Thievish skills, etc).

Nothing insurmountable though.

Cheers

For me I am currently working on an expanded Character creation format for the Demi-races. I am working on the Dwarves for 2nd Edition based on those found in Harnworld. I am using C&S as the basis and adding in all the relevant information I can find. I will place it up here once done then move onto the Elves and Hobbits.
