Hi Dom,

I did not realize you had all of these posts up here. I obviously forgot you did them. All I can say is well done mate!! This is a massive amount of information that will surely help every GM one way or another. I have already found a couple of useful things for me.

Shane

All,

I've been working on new Naval Deck Plans for 25mm figures to fight upon, so if there are people out there that fancy doing something a little nautical in their C&S campaign... (or even if you don't plan on using it soon, feedback appreciated please).

Here's a bitmap (90DPI on 8.5" x 14" US "Legal") preview of the first one which is a Small Cog.

The Small Cog was in service in both the Atlantic & Mediterranean seas as well as coastal/river work in use between 10th to 15th AD. Cog's developed over time, EG early ones had Steering Board/Oar on the "starboard" side, hence the original name "steer board", later ones had Steering Wheels like mine).

[Design Note: I'm doing them as Vector masters so I can make them any size I like, and also remove stuff (such as Cargo hold or Forecastle etc) and still put them out at production quality if necessary.]

I'm not able to test on small printers such as inkjet etc so don't know how it will come out so if you do print one out, please let me know what the quality is like for you.

Cheers

For those with an eye to historical accuracy, the draft I threw up isn't. It's a hybrid of Small & Large which spans a period of time (IE the rear deck/aft castle aspects aren't spot on).
