I think they are great games. As long as you have enough copies of the arms law book to go around and each player can look up their own weapons then it works great. I like to use rolemaster when I dm MERP and I feel that the ICE MERP products are good quality and so are worth running. I also like Space Master although I have not run a game yet.

We regularly use Rolemaster (2nd edition is our groups preference). I did play in a Middle Earth game using RM rules. The GM let loose monsters which would have had Sauron running for the hills.

Currently playing a Spacemaster Game every 2nd weekend using a combination of various editions. One thing all the editions of Spacemaster could have done with some more play testing, but once you get past a number of undefined skills (you can work out what most of them are meant to do) it is quite a good game.

aye, we enjoy these systems also. They are very detailed and enable the GM many tools for enhancing gameplay, however, they are also very lethal to characters.  Twisted Evil
